About Us

Nikki & Savier

I am 24 years old and just switched from Active Duty Air Force to the Reserves after five years. I am almost finished with my Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, but don't plan on using it. I plan to be a stay at home mommy while I go to school for something else that hasn't been decided on yet. Savier is 26 years old and he just got out of the Air Force after six years! He is working on his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and has attended the Law Enforcement Academy in Madison, WI in order to be eligible for a police officer job!
We met in Anchorage, Alaska and fell in love in Thumrait, Oman! We got married on August 5, 2012 and knew we were going to try to have babies as soon as possible. Before Savier and I got very serious with our relationship I told him that there was something wrong with me, but I did not know what it was and I did not know if I would ever be able to have children. I knew how badly he wanted to have more children (he has one three year old daughter, MaKayla!), so I told him everything in case it changed things. He promised to love me no matter what and stick with me through whatever it took to get a diagnosis and medically treat it. And he has done just that!
In our free time we enjoy working out (I haven't been able to do that very much, though), cooking, doing schoolwork (this might not always be enjoyable, but we spend a lot of time doing it!), and hanging out with our dogs and our little princess! We have a puggle who is seven years old and his name is Rosco! I have had him since he was only seven weeks old <3 We also have a Saint Bernard who I found in Alaska and her name is Heffer. I am not positive on her age, but it is right around the same as Rosco, we think! I have had her since March of 2011! We also got a dachshund in April of 2014 soon after we lost our first baby at 10 weeks. Her name is Xena! MaKayla is three, like I previously mentioned, and she lives with us for half of the year! Her obsession right now is princesses (especially Elsa!) and it is absolutely adorable! She is looking forward to being a big sister very soon! =)
We got pregnant with our first baby in January of 2014, but lost him/her in March. We started another round of treatment in May, but it was unsuccessful. Our third IUI took place on June 4, 2014 and this one was successful. We found out six weeks later that we would be having twins and ten weeks after that we found out that they are both girls! The official due date is February 23.. which is Savier's birthday, but we are planning for them to arrive in late January!
